• Handfiller

is a manual device able to host a 50ml-Luer lock-syringe connected to tubing system used to “pump” the drug from the container to fill the elastomeric pump acting on the plastic level arm.
HANDFILLER IS a TOOL NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE ACCORDING TO MEDICAL DEVICE DIRECTIVE 93/42
Handfiller could be used to facilitate the operations of filling elastomeric pumps with liquid drugs. It is common practice for the nurses to charge the liquid drug into a 50ml or 60ml syringe and to fill the elastomeric pump
directly connecting the syringe to the pump, usually under aspirating and protecting box. Handfiller reduces the nurse’s effort and discomfort during this operation, thanks to the possibility of accommodating the syringe in a
proper position and manually acting on a lever, which fills and flushes the syringe once connected to a 2-way tubing system. The tubing system should have one termination connected to the syringe and the other two, after the selector, one to the drug container and the other to the elastomeric pump.

  • CONTINUOUS WOUND INFUSION

Continuous Wound Infusion (CWI) is a technique which uses a multi-holed catheter to deliver local anaesthetics or analgesics directly into the wound for postoperative pain relief.
It can be used as a single technique or as part of a multi-modal analgesic approach.

    • Effective Postoperative Analgesia
The continuos wound infusion of local anaesthetics or analgesics has benn proven to provide effective postoperative analgesia for patients undegoing abdominaL, gynecological1, thoracic 2-3 and orthopedic surgeries4 – 7 as well as C section8 and hernia. 9
    • Reduces Opioid Usage
Continuous wound infusion reduces the need for systemic opioids in the postoperative period.1 – 9
    • Safe Technique
Continuous infusion of local anaesthetics or analgesics in the surgical wound for postoperative analgesia is a safe technique as it does not increase
the number of wound infections5 – 7 – 8, does not impair the wound healing process 5 – 7 – 8, and does not generate toxic levels of local anaesthetics in the patient’s plasma.1-5-7-8
    • Reduces Hospitalisation
Some studies found that continuous wound infusion can reduce a patient’s lenght of stay in hospital.1 – 2 – 5
    • Excellent Patient Satisfaction
Continuous wound infusion for postoperative analgesia provides excellent patient satisfaction. 5 – 6 – 8

    • Radioopaque catheter with advanced design feature
      to optimise uniform flow distribution
    • High tensile strength
      indicating low risk of breakage10
    • Convenient, easy to use system
with peel-away Introducer needle, dressing and catheter fixation
    • Range of 19 gauge catheters
      to cover various incision lengths
    • Markings
to allow identification of multi-holed section, distance from the beginning of the multi-holed section and catheter integrity

  • PolyFlush

PolyFlush Pre-filled syringe addresses most of your line flushing needs.
Pre-filled Saline Syringes (PFS) offer safety over manually prepared flush syringes by reducing the risk of catheter related blood stream infections.

    Safety Winged Infusion Set

    Features

    •  Reduces the risk of CR-BSI: Compared to conventional syringe preparation involving multiple steps, PolyFlush prefilled syringe is ready to use, it also minimizes cross contamina- tion & may reduce the risk of CR-BSI.
    • Improves workflow efficiency: Ready to use, limits number of steps, less chances of error and saves time.
    • Eliminates the risk of Needle Stick Injuries: Poly flush provides safety to the healthcare professionals by reducing the risk of needle stick injuries unlike conventional systems.
    • Avoids catheter damage: Syringe diameter is inversely related to pressure generated at the distal end of syringe. Smaller diameter syringes generate greater amounts of pressure than larger diameter syringes and can risk catheter damage. Polyflush prefilled syringe offers all the syringes in consistent 10 ml syringe diameters to lower the risk of catheter damage.
    • Gamma sterilized:Avoids leaching of volatile organic compound formation, resulting in the absence of any odour.
    • PVC free, DEHP free & Latex free
